A complete furniture fitout and styling of a coastal apartment in Coogee, delivered as a collaborative project with Core Interiors. The brief was to create a warm, relaxed and functional holiday home that reflected the client’s lifestyle while embracing the coastal setting.
The Brief
The clients had recently purchased the apartment as a family retreat and wanted it fully furnished, styled and ready to enjoy. The interiors needed to feel welcoming and effortless, with a relaxed coastal sensibility balanced by thoughtful detailing. Flexibility was key — the home needed to comfortably accommodate a family of five, with furniture arrangements that could adapt easily for everyday living, entertaining and visiting adult children.
The Process
— Specification of all furniture, artwork, rugs, lighting and decorative pieces
— Development of a cohesive coastal palette inspired by the surrounding landscape
— Space planning to maximise comfort, flexibility and flow within the existing footprint
— Selection of adaptable furniture pieces that could be rearranged as needed
— Close collaboration with Core Interiors to coordinate procurement and logistics
— Full installation and styling completed over a two-day period
— Final styling to ensure the apartment felt layered, lived-in and complete

Warm timber tones, textured finishes and carefully curated artwork bring depth and personality, while flexible furniture layouts support both quiet downtime and lively family gatherings. The oversized timber dining table anchors the home as a central gathering point, creating a home designed for connection, gathering and relaxed coastal living.
